What if the lives of children were safe from hunger, homelessness, and exploitation in the world's richest economy? I am in the process of collaborating with several organizations devoted to children to use art to make a difference. Sure it's a challenge...can you help?

Everyday over 1.6 million teens are homeless or runaways and vulnerable to sexual exploitation

At any given time there are up to 2000 homeless and runaway children in San Diego County.

One million teens in the U.S. are involved in prostitution each year. A child is propositioned for sex within the first 72 hours that she/he is on the streets. Up to 300,000 children in the U.S. are at risk of falling prey to the sex trade each year

Each year 5,000 teens will lose their lives on the streets due to assault, rape, suicide and illness. Let's use our talents to change the world!

Taking Hope

"Taking Hope" is an original piece I wrote and first performed with Chronos Theatre for El Dia De Los Muertes". My words are in honor of my Mom (Helen Harrison) who passed away from cancer. Thank you all for the positive feedback and encouragement to develop it further.

From Opened Letters Multi Arts, I had the pleasure of performing at Sharp Rehabilitation Services, Challenged Women's Initiative. All of the women are wheelchair bound due to trauma or illness. Chronos Theatre Group is continuing with the Success of the Speakeasy! This month our next Speakeasy is on Saturday, August 16th: Casablanca in 1942. Rhys and his excellent band have stepped in to provide music (thanks, Rhys!).
